Dressing Modestly but in style

Romans 6:12-13
12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

After going shopping at Walmart to get some food with my neighbor, and seeing how some women leave there homes to be in public, they need to be ashamed of themselves.
I am not saying to dress up like you are going to dinner, Broadway play, dinner party or Ball . However, women please stop wearing your pajamas to the store. Do you not have any self respect? On the one hand, we are all familiar with the dreaded walk down the grocery store checkout aisle, where magazine after magazine boasts airbrushed photos of impossibly thin celebrities and headlines promising to teach us how to “please our men” with sexier bodies, more fashionable clothes, hotter sex moves and better flirtation skills. Ours is indeed a culture that tends to assign value to a woman based on her sex appeal rather than her character, and that’s something we must work to change.
Stunning Swimdresses
Prime example; after leaving Walmart, getting home putting up the food only to realize I forgot the bread, so I go down to the Dollar General for the bread. I was not about to go back 8 mile across town to Walmart for bread. Anyway girl comes in while I’m talking to girls that work there, her and her three kids. Now this is what she was wearing except with a trench coatindex  and this is how her kids looked, images Now I must however, let you know I am an black women, and so was this woman as well. The little ones hair looked dirty and undone, cloths were definitely dirty. Now this is what really got me, Mom hair was all done up, nails looking good. but you got your  kids out here looking crazy, you looking crazy. Then I seen a man come in with his pajamas on. What on earth is wrong with people. Pajamas are for sleeping not the street. And when I said something to the young lady, I was told to mind my own business. See this is a darn shame. When you can go out anywhere and see ghetto fabulous. Modesty in the way we dress is not just for church; it is to be the standard for all Christians at all times. The key to understanding what constitutes modesty in dress is to examine the attitudes and intents of the heart. Those whose hearts are inclined toward God will make every effort to dress modestly, decently, and appropriately. Those whose hearts are inclined toward self will dress in a manner designed to draw attention to themselves with little or no regard for the consequences to themselves or others.

Although I am a christian woman I do dress modest  even when I home. I feel like people show way to much skin. I had a hard time with it when I was in my twenties and now that I’m in my fifties it even worse. Now with that said here is how I go out. Minus the hijab except if it’s really cold.

But as Christians we are free from the slavery of sin because we are united to Christ. Paul exhorts us to live out this freedom: “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions” (Romans 6:12). When it comes to modest dress, we can follow Paul’s next statement quite literally: Do not present the members of your body to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present your members to God as instruments for righteousness (verse 13). Paul wants Christian woman to have self-mastery in their wardrobe choices, to be totally free from worldly ways of defining worth, beauty, and sexiness.
