The Lord Requires Patience and Understanding

Have you ever wanted something so bad, but the Lord will not grant it. You ask why, and he tells you to Wait on Him? Then you ask what am I waiting for? And you receive no answer? Well that where I’m at.

Waiting on God takes a great deal of patience this I know for sure. I was angry with God because he wasn’t answering me. And you a probably saying you are not suppose to be angry with the Lord, and you are right, but I needed my moment. The Holy Spirit has taught me that things are don’t in HIS time not our time. However, in talking to GOD I ask 19 years I’ve been single, how much longer will this be? His response is “sit still and be quite, this is your season of singleness” . Well 19 year of singleness is getting very old I said. I’m to tell you don’t get smart with GOD, the wait will be longer. My homework if you will from the Lord look up these words: want, need, husband, marriage, peace, security, jealousy, patience waiting, love, faithfulness, honor, everlasting life. At the time I didn’t give much thought to the words, until I started looking them up via the bible, and the dictionary, is when it hit me pretty much like a ton of some excessive bricks.

Patience is the love for which the Lord is waiting for to give, while he jealousy see me give my thought to other things. He is my peace, security, husband in marriage of his word. This is something he was telling me but I was ready to hear. I thought that if I do as he asked it was enough. But as I come to learn if you give 10% to GOD don’t expect 100% from him. He will only give what you give. If you give all then he will give all. It’s sad it took so long to get it. But I’m able to see what is wrong in other people’s lives but not my own. Satan has as way to blur what God is trying to show you.

Singleness is your time to spend with Him. I always thought if we talk everyday that was good. However, I’ve come to learn through him that as a married person your focus is on your husband or wife, your children, and your day to day life. Jesus get and becomes second to all things. We forget, it was Him that gave all for us. Nothing is more important than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So my season of singleness is not done. I did say to the Lord I just hope I’m not so old that I won’t enjoy the gift he will bring my way. Life for me is at the mid way point now.

So as I sit and learn his Patience– But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Took me time but I got it.
